Final Blog

I think that my biggest accomplishment was learning how to add actions to everything and sound. My biggest struggle throughout this class is thinking about what my final game would be like. I liked getting to talk to my group member everyday and learning new things about Flash and how to make a game. Because she helped me learn more things. I disliked doing all the blogs that we did, but we had to do it so people could see how we are doing. I would have to say to the next class that its a big stress taking that you want to do. It'll be very hard on you because you don't know how to do anything. I liked that we were finally done with the game and it was over. Even though that I'm glad this class is over in away I'm sad that it is.

Final Demo

Well, Sarah and I just got done with our game demo today. We fixed everything that we needed to do so it would be better. I really love how it turned out to be in the end. We had to make one final button for the last page and then we uploaded the final thing to our team page. It has been a really big stress on everyone to finish this game on time. I hope that when Sarah and I show everyone our game that we won't mess up and forget to do something. I was very happy for us to be done and I was surprised that we were the first group done. Because, our group only has two people and it and everyone else has either three or four people. I'm very happy that we are done with this! And I hope everyone else gets done and that their game is very good also! This is our final game!! Demo.

Practice Presentation

Well, I hope that Sarah and I can finish our game demo before we have to give our presentation. Sarah just found out how to do the actions and she will teach me how to do it so we both can and so we can get it done a lot faster. After I do that, I'll have to look over the Team Page and make any fixes that need to be changed before people start to look at it. I really hope that we both can finish all the actions so I can fix the team page, and then we will be almost done! I'm very happy that this class and the school is almost over because, this class I think was my hardest class all year, and school is just a big pain. But on the other hand I have got a chance to learn a bunch of new stuff for Flash. I never even knew that there was a web site named "Blogger" until this class. I'm very thankful that I got this class because now I'll know a lot of new things for Flash and I hope I can use them in my life.

Persentation

No, I haven't overcame my biggest struggle yet. Sarah and I are trying to fix our demo so it is right again. I'm going to be looking for sounds today if Sarah doesn't need help, but when she does I'll help her. I think I have an idea of what kind of sound we can use but she has to like it also. And no, i haven't accomplished my goal for this week, because I haven't had a chance to really listen to a sound. I have been trying to help Sarah fix the demo. Yes, I do think that Sarah is doing everything that she needs to be doing with this demo. And we make a great team, we don't disagree, yell at each other.

Biggest Struggle

We have been assembling our game demo for awhile. It has been a big struggle for Sarah and I to do. We have missed up but its not big, we have to put an introduction screen on it and move our scenes. It's going to be hard and not easy at all. I think my biggest thing that I have done so far is helping Sarah when she needs it, make the team page, and I am also going to be finding the sound for the game and thats not going to be easy because there is so many different sounds out in the world that I can pick. And then Sarah has to like it to so we can agree on it. Team Page!

What I Accomplished

I would like to accomplish this week is to try to get all of scenes done and ready to put actions in. I think Sarah and I can do that I don't think its going to be hard since we are already done drawing. But there is one thing that we can't get, its when you get the problem right or wrong we don't know how to put that in there. Because if you get the problem right we don't want a sceen that says you lose. So that is what we are going to work on today in class and try to get it right. I asked Sarah if she could help me on how to add actions and things and then she said that she really didn't get it but, by the end of the class we both will now how to add them. I hope that Sarah and I can start finding different sounds and seeing which one we like and try to add them but I don't know what the teacher have planned for us yet. I think that Sarah and I are getting along great in class and out of class also. We work together even though we say things to each other that we don't mean, we are best friends and nothing can change that. This one slide from our game demo : Soup Can.

The last two days we have been assembling our game demo. Sarah and I have accomplished a lot with the game, all we need to finish is the actions to go slide to slide and things, the sound, and the slides then I think we will be done. I really haven't accomplished anything because I already know how to draw in Flash and I think Sarah has got that down too. What I really need to accomplish is how to make actions in the game because that is something that I really need to work on. Well, there are a lot of things that are easy to do. Like the learning log that we do and things like the blogs that we do I think that is easy, and also drawing in Flash. But, I think that adding actions is hard and I think that adding sounds will be hard for Sarah and I to do. Sarah might know more about how to add actions and sounds but I don't and I hope she will show me how to add them to the game. Yes, I think that Sarah and I are contributing equally to this. Because we are working in Flash on her computer and if we need to look for something like a code then I would look for it and tell her what it would be and we help each other out when we need it. The plans that I have for the rest of the week is that Sarah and I will get more done with the game and I can get better at adding actions. I know that the week is almost over but I would like to at least get a little bit better before this class is over.
